Trauma and PTSD

Trauma is a deeply distressing or disturbing experience or physical injury. Often Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a byproduct of trauma. Recognizing the signs and learning to address them adequately is vital. Some of those signs are; heightened reactions, rehearsing unwanted memories, anxiety, and depression. Enlisting the help of a therapist will make the journey of maneuvering through it all less overwhelming.

Race & Social Justice

Racism is a huge issue for our nation. It is a part of my mission to address the hard conversations head-on, discover creative solutions, and execute them.  I am also here to be a support system for you if you're struggling to process the injustices seen on the news each day, as well as any you have experienced in your personal life.

Stress & Anxiety

Stress and anxiety are inevitable. There is a fine line between knowing how to self-manage and when to call on a therapist's support. We live in a time where we are feeling pressure to be superhuman and carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. I am here to tell you that is not the case. Seeing a therapist is a form of self-care that should be utilized as often as deemed necessary. I'm here to remind you to take care of yourself first.

Self Esteem & Impostor Syndrome

We have all had our bouts with Imposter Syndrome. It happens when we start to doubt ourselves or feel undeserving of occupying the spaces we have worked to get to. Trust me; it happens to the best of us. Let me be the one to remind you that you are worthy and equipped to thrive.

Pregnancy, Prenatal & Postpartum Health

Having a baby is such a miraculous time. I'm here to support women during times that people don't always like to talk about. Things like struggling with your emotional stability and physical health or the overwhelming loneliness new mothers feel after bringing their new addition home are common maternal challenges. I have experienced those challenges myself. It is because of those experiences I have a vision to be a support system for mothers.
